“Snore Gate” was composed during the 3-day long “Words And […]” Conference put on by the School of Making THinking during which I was in residence as the runner of their 24-hour pirate radio station being broadcasted throughout the building. Every night when I went to sleep I would position a microphone above my head to pick up my snores and run them through a home-made gate connected to a soft synthesizer patch. Whenever I snored, a soft burst of synthesizer would run through the radio to all the participants throughout the Darling Founderie.
