The Terminology is in Crisis
“The Terminology is in Crisis” is an essay by Peter Osborne on the term “New Music” and its relevance to contemporary artistic practice and the philosophy thereof.This performance was made for the New Music Organizing Caucus “takeover” of Open Improvisations, and performed March 21st, 2021. This work consists of preshot video which was then “played” back with custom made software to an online audience with vocal performance by the composer.
